Overview

Thrings is a Top 200 Law firm, with offices in Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Romsey and the Wye Valley. We are looking for a proactive Quality & Risk Assistant to join the Quality & Risk team in our Bath/Bristol office, working with Quality & Risk supporting the wider business. As a law firm, we support our clients by providing a variety of advice, across several different industries. Responsibilities
  • Managing AML CDD monitoring process
  • Running conflict checks
  • Liaising with others on resolving gaps in anti-money laundering documentation
  • Assisting with general AML queries and escalating as necessary
  • Assisting legal teams with obtaining AML documentation
  • Assisting in providing data and information for panel applications, CQS renewals, pitches etc.
  • Assisting with tracing unidentified post identifying relevant clients/matters/fee earners and recording findings
  • Insurance renewals
  • Processing Accuity
  • Work Acceptance processes
  • Data cleansing
  • Assisting with auditing, monitoring and reporting activity
  • Understanding of corporate or trust structures
  • Understanding of the SRA Codes of Conduct

Location, hours & benefits

While this role is based in the Bath/Bristol office there will be opportunities to support other fee earners based at our other offices. You will have experience of working in a client-focused role, delivering exceptional client service at all times; you should be organized, able to work at pace and deliver to multiple deadlines.
