Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Bath is seeking a Quality Inspector for a permanent role. The candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections of goods and products and ensuring compliance with ISO standards. Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO9001:2008 (AS9100:2009 experience preferred).
• Extensive knowledge of metrology processes.
• Knowledge and experience of CMM systems (VDMIS, Camio).
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection of First-off items and supplied goods.
• Monitor the use and condition of in-process inspection gauging.
• Liaise with the Manufacturing Engineering team during process development.
• Utilise MSA and SPC for ongoing process improvements.

Skills

Knowledge of ISO9001:2008

Extensive knowledge of metrology processes

Knowledge and experience of CMM systems

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Good communication skills

Team player with positive attitude

Computer literate with MS Office
