Quality Inspector (4 Day Week)

*Opportunities for CMM Training* - CMM experience (manual or CNC) is highly desirable; however, for the right candidate with a strong background in inspection and a keen eye for detail, CMM Training will be offered.

4 Day Week. We are a well-established CNC precision engineering company producing high-specification components for a range of industries. Role

We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting precision-engineered components within a CNC machining environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our components meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality before reaching our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspecting components using handheld measuring tools such as calipers, verniers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
  • Operating and programming CMM
  • Interpreting and working to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Carrying out in-process and final inspections of machined components.
  • Supporting continuous improvement efforts in quality processes.
  • Accurately recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation.
  • Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Desirable Experience and Skills
  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machining or precision engineering environment.
  • Proficient in using handheld inspection equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
  • CMM experience (manual or CNC) is highly desirable; however, for the right candidate with a strong background in inspection and a keen eye for detail, we offer full training in CMM operation and programming.
  • A proactive and meticulous approach to quality and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
