Quality Inspector

Location: Kingswood, Bristol

Salary: £27,500 - £30,000 (Fixed-Term Contract - 12 Months)

Start Date: ASAP

Syntech Recruitment is partnering with a leading global manufacturer renowned for excellence in regulated, high-standards environments. We are seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality control, documentation, and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on incoming materials and finished products
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Support document control activities and update work instructions and SOPs
  • Assist with internal/external audits and follow-up actions
  • Monitor non-conformances (NCRs), assist in investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects and support process optimisation
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, QA Technician, or QC role
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO/IEC 17025 standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Desirable
  • Technical or engineering qualification (e.g. BTEC or equivalent)
  • Experience in a laboratory or technical manufacturing environment
  • Audit experience and exposure to quality systems
