Location : Rainham, Essex

Salary : £40,000 - £45,000 potential negotiable

Quality Engineer (CMM) Overview

We are currently looking for an experience quality engineer to join a leading manufacturer of high-performance components used across automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications worldwide.

In this quality role, you’ll provide quality support across both existing production lines and new product introductions, ensuring all customer, process, and product requirements are met to the highest standards. You’ll play a key part in supporting investigations, trials, and improvement projects while maintaining robust quality systems and documentation

The ideal candidate will be technically minded, hands-on with metrology and measurement equipment, and confident in supporting both customers and internal teams. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment where precision, problem-solving, and attention to detail are valued every day. Hands on CMM experience preferably with programming experience. Full training given.

Quality Engineer Requirements

• Experience in automotive metrology methods within a Quality Assurance or Manufacturing environment
• NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
• Hands-on experience with CMMs (ideally including programming knowledge) - Mitutoyo but full official training given
• Strong IT literacy and working knowledge of PPAPs and SPC
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
