Our clienta major highways contarctor are looking for a Quality Engineer for a contract. on the M25, details as follows:

Key Responsibilities
- Compile and maintain QA documentation including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), check sheets, and material certification.
- Support site teams in verifying compliance with design drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards.
- Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure QA records are completed and submitted in line with project schedules.
- Conduct spot checks and visual inspections on completed works to validate quality compliance.
- Record and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing QA documentation for handover and audit purposes.
- Ensure all QA records are accurately filed and traceable via the project document management system (e.g., SharePoint / Asite).
Skills & Experience Required
- Background in highways or civil engineering quality assurance (e.g., earthworks, drainage, structures, surfacing).
- Familiarity with Highways England / National Highways specifications (SHW, IAN, DMRB).
- Experience compiling and managing QA documentation on large infrastructure schemes.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of construction quality processes.
- Proficient with QA documentation systems and MS Office tools.
- CSCS card (minimum: Skilled Worker or higher).
Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of M25 network operations and smart motorway standards.
- Previous experience working on major highways or junction improvement schemes.
