Qualifications

  • Experienced Quality Engineer with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834 (welding inspection) and/or EN 1090.
  • Prior exposure to large, complex projects in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project inspections are met.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 3834, EN 1090, and ISO 9001.
  • Maintain Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Review Engineering drawings and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Support audits and liaise with clients.

Who this job suits

This role is ideal for an experienced Quality Engineer with a meticulous eye for detail, analytical skills, and prior exposure to large, complex, multi-disciplined projects in regulated environments. Your knowledge of Welding, ISO 3834 & EN 1090 will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project inspections and technical requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance to ISO 3834, EN 1090, ISO 9001.
  • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Review Engineering drawing and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Collate and analyse data, support audits, and liaise with clients.
  • Utilise extensive hands‑on experience in Quality Management Systems and Principles.
Skills and Experience
  • CSWIP 3.1 certified (desirable)
  • Auditor certified
  • Time‑served apprenticeship, HNC, HND or equivalent
  • Knowledge of ISO 3834 (welding inspection) and/or EN 1090 advantageous
  • Experience with LTQRS advantageous
