Overview

Job Title: Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

• Carry out microbiological testing and HPLC analysis to ensure products meet required standards.
• Conduct organoleptic assessments to verify product taste, texture, and overall quality.
• Maintain accurate records of all testing in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Support the HACCP system and food safety policies to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams, sharing insights as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician.

Qualifications / Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Laboratory Technician or in a similar laboratory role.
• Knowledge of microbiological techniques and HPLC.
• Experience in organoleptic testing.
• A sound understanding of HACCP and Food Safety principles (intermediate level desirable).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.
