Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Location: Ely

Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 + Private Medical Care + Free Gym + Free Parking + Company Benefits

Are you a Quality Inspector or similar from a manufacturing background looking for a long‑term, stable, local role for a large manufacturer, offering a Monday to Friday, days‑based position with an early finish every Friday?

In this warehouse‑based role you will be inspecting incoming and outgoing manufactured goods for visual imperfections, measuring accuracy, finish quality and packing integrity. Alongside this, you will conduct quality audits and investigate NCRs.

Founded 30 years ago, this manufacturer specialises in high‑quality building products supplying across the UK. Boasting rapid growth with intentions to be the leading supplier in their industry, they aim to hit £100 million in turnover in the next 10 years.

This role will suit someone from a Quality background within manufacturing, looking for a permanent role within a company that truly looks after its employees through excellent benefits and a great company culture.

The Role

• Inspecting incoming/outgoing products and conducting quality audits
• Using hand‑measuring tools such as vernier calipers
• Investigating NCRs and identifying root causes
• Monday to Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm, Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm
