Role

We are looking for a skilled Quality Cloud Engineer (C++ Developer) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate brings strong programming expertise in modern C++ thrives in product-led squad and has a mindset for enablement. You will play a critical role in leading teams to adopt and adapt modern engineering practices, tools, and processes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross functional teams to design, develop, and optimise high-performance applications, ensuring clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with product goals.

Key Requirements:
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using modern C++.
  • Work as part of a product-led squad, contributing to end-to-end delivery, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Enable and mentor other engineers by sharing best practices, tools, and frameworks that improve team efficiency and delivery quality.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code following coding standards.
  • Debug, optimize, and enhance existing applications and libraries.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Contribute to full-stack development activities — from backend services to integration with frontend components.
  • Ensure software reliability and performance through testing and profiling.
  • Contribute to design discussions and help shape the technical direction of projects.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in C++ development.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience working in product-led squads or agile product teams.
  • Familiarity with backend frameworks (REST APIs, microservices).
  • Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Exposure to DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

We are open to this role being based either in our London or US offices, salary will be dependant on location.
