A healthcare organization in Leeds is seeking a Quality Assurance Officer for Estates & Facilities. The candidate will audit cleaning and food safety standards, monitor outsourced contracts, and provide administrative support to improve service quality. A significant background in the cleaning or catering sector along with relevant qualifications in Food Safety is essential. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be comfortable managing conflicts. This role requires flexibility with working hours across multiple sites.

Weare seeking an exceptional individual to work as a Quality Assurance Officer for Estates & Facilities. You will be auditing cleaning standards inpatient areas, food safety and service standards in retail catering units as well as other areas as diverse as window cleaning, entrance mats and other contracts.
This is no ordinary job; every day will be different and you will work across all sites at different times of the day or night, including one Saturday per month.

This role provides the following services to the Trust:
The post holder will audit/monitor pre-determined standards and policies relating to Estates & Facilities in-house services plus a range of outsourced contracts. The post holder will also be involved with a range of other information collection exercises and surveys and will report on the patient experience in areas connected with Estates & Facilities services. The post holder will work closely with the Team Manager and Estates & Facilities Managers in assisting with the development of service improvements in line with national and local quality standards.

To audit against agreed national or local standards relating to in-house services provided by the Estates and Facilities CSU across the Trust. This will include auditing cleanliness standards in wards, theatres, public areas and departments across the Trust.
Audit standards of outsourced contracts as specified in the contract specification. The contracts include, but are not limited to Linen Services, Pest Control, Staff and Visitor Catering, Window Cleaning, Taxis, advertising and Vending.
Audits for catering will monitor food safety standards that are being adhered to in restaurants, cafes and retail outlets across the Trust.
Requirement to liaise with Contract Managers regarding service shortfalls in standards and put in place relevant action plans for the Contractor to implement.
