You will require experience and expertise in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Project Management, preferably within the power sector, specifically within High Voltage, and have an open and enthusiastic ‘get stuck in’ mindset. This exciting opportunity will require 30% of travel with regular trips to Ireland.

How you'll make an impact
  • Managing Non‑conformances (SAP Q Notifications), Customer complaints, Root Cause Analysis 8D reports, and Customer case handling (within and without warranty)
  • Analyzing all failures and concerns on‑site, factories and within the supply chain, and reviewing customer site I&C quality plans, method statements, and quality documentation
  • Create, maintain, and manage Inspection test plans (ITP’s), Site acceptance test plans (SAT’s), and Factor acceptance test (FAT’s)
  • Perform training and analyze quality cases and execute internal audits on sites, suppliers, and global quality standards assurance (GQSA)
  • Work on and maintain a bespoke High Voltage Service Business Management System (BMS)
  • Maintain the local Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with High Voltage
  • Process Mapping, Development, and documentation in Hitachi ADONIS systems
  • Produce reports and manage quality KPI’s in accordance with business targets with cost of poor quality (COPQ)
Background
  • Proven experience in Quality Engineering and the industry
  • Experience in coaching of L6S projects, continuous improvement (CI), and training within quality
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance processes, audits, and inspections
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset
  • Understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality standard and Subject Matter Expertise (SAP)
