Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Greater Manchester

Salary: Up to £40k + Benefits

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a leading aerospace business, working across multiple manufacturing units within a diverse and dynamic team. This role will focus on maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), with a strong emphasis on auditing and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits across the business units, ensuring adherence to the robust AS9100 QMS.
  • Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  • Develop and improve documentation, ensuring it remains current and effective.
  • Lead two key improvement projects annually, such as digitizing training records or enhancing supplier quality processes.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistent quality practices across all sites.

  • You must be a certified Lead Auditor for AS9100 with a proven track record in quality systems and auditing.
