Overview

Quality Assurance & Compliance Coordinator — Bedfordshire. Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming products for quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
  • Review and verify inspection reports from overseas suppliers (primarily Far East).
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions.
  • Report and escalate quality issues promptly.
  • Monitor and track industry regulations, ensuring compliance is always up to date.
  • Manage product documentation (COCs, test reports, compliance forms).
  • Liaise with certification bodies and testing labs for renewals and updates.
  • Support shipping documentation and logistics coordination.
  • Check and approve artwork & POS materials for compliance.
  • Assist cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
About You / Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in QA, QC, or compliance.
  • Knowledge of product safety standards and certification processes (advantageous).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers, inspectors, and certification bodies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A sharp eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
