Key aspects of the role
  • Act as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor: validate and sign off electrical work and certification.
  • Ensure all installations comply with BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain NICEIC registration and oversee annual assessments.
  • Oversee electricians and apprentices, ensuring competence and adequate supervision.
  • Create work schedules, monitor performance, and address non-compliance or poor workmanship.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to staff.
  • Inspect and test electrical installations, prepare Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
  • Audit contractors and in-house teams for compliance and quality standards.
  • This contract is secured for 5 years and has ongoing works for a further 10 years.
