Qualified Social Worker, Locality Team

Pay rate £37 per hour

Vitalis are recruiting within for a Qualified Social Worker to work in a Locality Team in Wakefield Council.

Responsibilities

We require an experienced Advanced Practitioner in a Locality Social Work Team (children's) based in Hemsworth, Wakefield. The role is to undertake complex child protection work and to take on a supportive role within the team, supporting lesser experienced workers and ASYE's, alongside taking on some Team Manager tasks. The team is of 8, currently have 6 in the team at the movement. Carry court work, CIC, CP work, etc. Caseloads fluctuate and aim for around 15 cases per AP.
