Knowledge, Skills and Experience

For a Grade 7 role:

• Registered with the appropriate professional body.
• Relevant professional Social Work qualification and evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience in safeguarding vulnerable adults and social work practice.
• Ability to work within a team and independently, with excellent communication skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation including The Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.

For a Grade 8 role:

• Same qualifications as Grade 7, with additional supervisory experience.
• Successfully completed AYSE (if applicable).
• Ability to manage and prioritise a complex caseload.
• Demonstrated high-level IT skills and experience in using electronic record-keeping systems.
• Capable of supervising team members and encouraging professional development.
