In this role, you will be responsible for a repair stage in the repair process of medical and surgical endoscopes, following approved repair processes and procedures on a stage of an assembly line style repair process.

Your responsibilities
  • Complete repairs in line with method sheets and/or repair manuals, including other relevant processes and procedures
  • Adhere to health and safety requirements as determined by risk assessments
  • Escalate Incidents, Near Misses and Identified Hazards
  • Responsible for the quality of the product for the designated stage of the repair, meeting the minimum target requirements, including inspection checks throughout the repair process
  • Adopt a continuous improvement mindset, working to relevant Lean and 6S expectations
  • Achieve customer satisfaction by working to the required productivity and quality requirements
  • Use calibrated tooling and test equipment defined for the repair process
  • Use service management and administration systems to record all relevant information for the repair, including process times
  • You have previous experience in a technical role or fine hand skills gained through other means
  • Knowledge of how to carry out mechanical/electrical tasks and/or soldering is highly advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to read and understand detailed technical instructions
  • Flexible approach where required
  • You are self-motivated, with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in an organised manner
  • Good PC competency, including the use of email, and data entry
