Salary: MPS/ UPS (dependent on experience)

Overview

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a motivated and professional qualified IT Teacher to join a secondary school in the Walsall area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and help them develop essential digital and technological skills that will prepare them for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stages.
  • Teaching a range of IT and computer science topics, ensuring lessons are accessible and stimulating for all learners.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
  • Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress in line with school policies.
  • Contributing to departmental meetings, school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in IT and digital learning to enhance teaching practice.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • Strong subject knowledge in IT/Computer Science with the ability to deliver lessons across Key Stages.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
