Overview

A Vacancy at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust.

An opportunity to work in an exciting and dynamic service providing high intensity psychological interventions for the North Lincs Talking Therapies team. We are looking for a psychotherapeutic counsellor who has the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to join our team and be committed to making a difference within the RDaSH Talking Therapies service. The service has been well established providing a stepped care, evidence-based model for the treatment of people with common mental health problems. You will be hard-working and able to meet specified targets, in order to deliver a high quality talking therapies service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a qualified specialist psychological therapy service to clients in the modality of Counselling for Depression, including specialist psychological assessment and therapy within one or more NHS Talking Therapies models for anxiety and depression.
  • Deliver therapy with fidelity to NHS Talking Therapies guidelines and within the team’s policies and procedures.
  • Involve supervision of other colleagues as appropriate.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and contribute to the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
  • Utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development, and research within the area served by the team/service.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Essential: trained in the NHS Talking Therapies counselling modality Counselling for Depression.
  • Essential: hold relevant registration/accreditation.
