Qualified Dispensing Optician, Monday to Friday – Tunbridge Wells, Kent

A full time Qualified Dispensing Optician to work Monday to Friday (part time may also be considered) is required for an independent Optical Domiciliary practice based in Tunbridge Wells. The position is mainly office based, with occasional visits to deliver patients their spectacles.

The role

• Monday to Friday, office based
• Liaising with patients’ family members to discuss the outcome of their eye test on the phone
• Discussing options with them i.e. frame and lens choice
• Costings for the patient
• Liaising with Nursing Homes and patients to arrange appointments for the optometrist to visit them
• Some occasions you will be required to deliver glasses but not essential
• IT Proficient
