Job description

We are currently recruiting QTS-qualified Supply Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in and around the Thetford area. With multiple schools and daily supply opportunities available, this is an excellent role for teachers seeking flexibility and variety, with an immediate start.

This position involves covering KS3-KS4 classes and is ideal for confident, adaptable teachers who can quickly settle into new school environments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Follow pre-set lesson plans and adapt where necessary
  • Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Support pupil engagement, progress, and wellbeing
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each placement where required
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
