QA Technician - Nights

Location: Coventry

Salary: £29,099

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off nights (7pm - 7am)

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-driven QA Technician to join our team in Coventry. In this vital role, you'll support the delivery of safe, high-quality products by ensuring our Quality and Food Safety standards are consistently met throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and monitor production processes in line with the Quality and Food Safety Plan.
  • Collect samples and carry out microbiological, chemical, organoleptic and shelf-life testing; record results accurately.
  • Act as a Quality and Food Safety Champion, maintaining high GMP/GLP standards and supporting complaint reduction.
  • Ensure full traceability and maintain accurate, legible production records.
  • Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes and support preventive actions.
  • Verify equipment according to the Calibration Plan and report issues.
  • Check, verify and file Production and QA records for accuracy and easy retrieval.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous QA/QC or technical experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to challenge non-conformances.
  • Ability to work effectively on night shifts as part of a small, supportive team.
  • Level 3 Hygiene (minimum).
  • Basic Health and Safety.
  • HACCP knowledge.
