Job summary

A leading contractor in construction is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure high-quality project execution. You will oversee QA processes, support compliance with project plans, and manage documentation. Essential qualifications include a degree and relevant certifications. The ideal candidate has strong Health & Safety knowledge and experience in construction environments, coupled with excellent communication skills. This role is pivotal for maintaining project quality and entails promoting safety standards across the site.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
• Good working knowledge of plant operations.
• Essential experience in construction or civil engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate record-keeping and manage document control for operational teams.
• Work with engineers and subcontractors to develop and manage Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Support design coordinators and design managers in delivering project requirements.
• Maintain and update all equipment registers.
• Ensure full compliance with the Project Quality Plan and internal quality procedures.
• Lead the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process for internal teams and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and manage project-specific handover documentation, including complete Handover Files and O&M manuals.
• Promote awareness and compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies across the project.
