Salary : Up to 26000 per annum

Location : Aston Birmingham

Hours : Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm; Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Contract Type : Full-time Permanent

Holiday : 25 days Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities
  • Process purchase orders accurately and maintain up-to-date records
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies efficiently
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Supervisor and Manager
  • Track and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
Candidate Profile
  • Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement or administrative role
  • Basic understanding of purchasing processes; experience with MRP systems or other planning tools is highly desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (comfortable with formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and general data manipulation)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Positive team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable liaising with both internal teams and external suppliers
