Job summary

A leading technology service provider in the UK is seeking a skilled Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant. This role allows you to work remotely with one day a week at the Alderley Edge hub. Responsibilities include coding and posting invoices, managing reconciliations, and supporting supplier queries. Qualifications

  • Experience in purchase ledger or accounts assistance is preferred.
  • Clear understanding of accounting basics is required.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Code and post purchase invoices into Sage 200.
  • Coordinate supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Manage invoice collation and authorization.
  • Support supplier queries and bank transactions.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Coding and posting purchase invoices into Sage 200 and via our AP software (V1)
  • Coordinating supplier statement reconciliations
  • Managing the collation of invoices from different sources and distributing for authorisation
  • Supporting supplier queries
  • Posting of bank transactions, including supplier and customer allocations
  • Along with further general account duties, this is a home-first position, giving you the freedom to work remotely while staying connected with the team. You'll spend one day each week (Tuesday) at our Alderley Edge hub, collaborating face-to-face and sharing ideas. In addition, you’ll have access to our network of local hubs across the UK, with occasional ad‑hoc travel to other group offices or locations as needed.

  • Great knowledge of Microsoft Excel
