Overview

An exciting opportunity has become a Public Realm Officer. The Public Realm Officer is responsible for the safety and security of the external areas of the contract and plays an integral role in the 24/7 operations at a landmark destination known for its blend of luxury residences, five-star hospitality, and premium retail. Candidates must have proven experience in ultra-premium environments, such as luxury residential developments, 5-star hotels, or working directly with high-profile and VIP clientele. You will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail to ensure an exceptional standard of service at all times.

• Position: Public Realm Host Concierge Officer
• Location: London (W2)
• Pay Rate: £15.30 per hour
• Hours: Average 42 hours per week
• Shifts: 4 On 4 Off

Requirements

• SIA Door Supervisor License
• Proven experience in ultra-premium environments, such as luxury residential developments, 5-star hotels, or working directly with high-profile and VIP clientele
• Prior experience in a hotel or high-end residential setting is essential
• Be diplomatic and robust in approach with the public; able to make decisions and act in accordance with both CIS and customer values
• Physically fit and able to patrol on foot outdoors for the duration of each shift
• Experience of security risk assessment and physical security planning
• Time management and organizational skills
• Excellent personal presentation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and conflict management
• Basic IT knowledge
• Flexible in approach to daily duties and additional onsite events
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Calm personality capable of handling difficult situations
• Willingness to undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Ability to provide all required documentation and vetting information

Duties & Responsibilities

• Liaise and maintain good customer service relationships with site staff, visitors, customers, members of the public and senior security management
• Manage effective working relationships with all stakeholders while representing the site and CIS-Security
• Detect, disrupt & deter offenders and take appropriate enforcement action when required
• Work in partnership with Local Service providers: Police, Intelligence Units, Crime Reduction and Community Safety Partnerships
• Provide reassurance through public liaison by attending various Council, Police, and public meetings when required
• Provide education and awareness-based patrols to manage ASB, prevent crime and nuisance in defined areas
• Gather information and intelligence for directed action, share information, and facilitate cross-sector liaison
• Carry out tasks and report back as directed by the customer
• Assist in security investigations into loss, damage or other incidents affecting property, visitors, or staff
• Conflict resolution and dealing with members of the public in a respectful manner
