Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (until July 2026) Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary Range: £29 (Apply online only) £48 (Apply online only) (depending on experience and qualifications)

Overview

An established Sixth Form College in the Andover area is seeking a dedicated Psychology Teacher to deliver high-quality teaching and learning across BTEC and A-Level programmes. This is a full-time, long-term position running from January until July 2026, offering an excellent opportunity to inspire and support students in achieving their academic goals. The role would be full time, although part time hours can be offered for the right person.

You will play a key role in helping learners develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of psychological concepts, preparing them for higher education or future careers.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Psychology across BTEC and A-Level courses.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work to ensure strong progress and achievement.
  • Support learners through classroom teaching, tutorials, and exam preparation.
  • Monitor and track student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and course planning within the Social Sciences department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice.
