Overview

Psychology Graduate - SEND Teaching Assistant in Oldham, Greater Manchester. Are you a recent Psychology graduate with aspirations to train as an Educational Psychologist? Available for October 2025? If you have experience supporting children or young people with SEND and would like to help them overcome barriers to learning in a primary or SEND school, this is an excellent opportunity.

Role start is ASAP with long-term and short-term placements available. This role provides valuable preparation for further study in the field within a supportive school environment and the chance to make a positive impact on pupil outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Support students with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH, and Dyslexia.
  • Assist classroom teachers and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.
  • Support pupils to access learning activities and develop independence.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Recent Psychology degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Interest in pursuing educational psychology and developing practical SEND support skills.
  • Willingness to work in Primary or SEND settings in Oldham, Greater Manchester.
