A global investment manager is seeking a part or fully qualified accountant or regulatory professional to join their Group Regulatory Reporting team. The successful candidate will manage capital and risk assessment projects, contribute to stress testing, and prepare concise management information for key committees. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in asset management or banking, with a strong focus on detail and project management skills. This role requires excellent communication and stakeholder relationship abilities.
We’re a global investment manager. We help institutions, intermediaries and individuals around the world invest money to meet their goals, fulfil their ambitions, and prepare for the future. We have around 6,000 people on six continents and have been around for over 200 years, but keep adapting as society and technology changes. What doesn’t change is our commitment to helping our clients, and society, prosper.
We moved into our new HQ in the City of London in 2018. We’re close to our clients, in the heart of the UK’s financial centre. And we have everything we need to work flexibly.
The Group Regulatory Reporting team is responsible for the production of all prudential regulatory material for the consolidated Schroders Group (CRR) and several solo UK regulated asset management firms (IFPR / CPM) and for production of associated internal reports.
The Pillar 2 team is overall owner of almost all of the Group Pillar 2 documents, including the ICAAP, Recovery Plan and Wind-down plan, and ICARAs under the FCA IFPR regime. The Group Regulatory team is also responsible for production and submission of Pillar 1 prudential regulatory returns and Pillar 3 documents.
We’re looking for a part or fully qualified accountant and / or a regulatory professional with capital experience gained within the industry (asset manager or bank). We want individuals who take responsibility for their own outputs, ensuring they are accurate and of high quality, and who can work independently, using their own initiative. You need to have strong written and oral communication skills and to be a good team player.
The jobholder will assist in delivery of the capital and risk assessment documents that are produced for the Schroders Group (such as the ICAAP (Internal Capital Adequacy and Assessment Process)) and for UK operating entities (ICARAs (Internal Capital and Risk Assessments)).
