Real Estate

A leading Scottish firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Scottish Real Estate team in Edinburgh. The role will involve providing dedicated support to three Partners and contributing to the delivery of complex real estate transactions for a broad client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and reporting on title documentation, including both Land Register and Sasine titles
  • Ordering and analysing searches and property reports
  • Managing transactional project workflows, including data rooms, trackers and client reporting
  • Preparing and maintaining transaction checklists and coordinating completions
  • Supporting lease management activities, including reviews and reporting
  • Assisting with servitudes, wayleaves and utility agreements
  • Drafting and serving notices and intimations
  • Managing property portfolios and related documentation
  • Supporting licences for works and landlord consent processes
  • Implementing contracts for lease and related agreements
  • Assisting with rent review agreements, renunciations and termination documentation
  • Supporting billing processes, including purchase orders and invoice preparation
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency in recurring transaction processes
  • Monitoring updates to client information and internal precedents
