Commercial Surveyor - Lincoln

MRICS Qualified | Property Management Focus | Excellent Career Progression

A respected and expanding property consultancy is seeking a Commercial Surveyor to join their Lincoln office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified MRICS professional with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to take the next step in their career, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

The role has come about due to continued growth and offers a clear pathway for progression within a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Property Management: Oversee a portfolio of commercial properties, including tenant liaison, service charge administration, and maintenance coordination. Conduct regular inspections to ensure lease compliance.
  • Rent Reviews & Lease Renewals: Negotiate and manage rent reviews and lease renewals for both landlords and tenants, aligned with market conditions and lease terms.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored solutions and exceptional service.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work meets RICS standards and legal requirements.
  • Valuations: Occasionally undertake non-red book rental valuations.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on local market trends to provide strategic advice.

Candidate Profile

  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent)
  • 1-3 years PQE in a commercial surveying role
  • Experience in property management and landlord/tenant matters
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented with mentoring potential
  • Commercially aware with a proactive mindset
  • Interest in emerging property trends and innovation
