The Property Maintenance Operative, as a member of the Estates Team, ensures the School's buildings and facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fit for purpose. This hands-on role carries out a range of general repairs and maintenance across the School's estate, with a focus on supporting Boarding Houses. The role requires a practical, proactive approach and the ability to build positive working relationships with staff, with sensitivity and discretion in residential areas. A commitment to high standards of workmanship and a collaborative team spirit is essential.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Typically 08:00–16:30 with a 30-minute unpaid break. Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends, functions, or Commemoration, may be required.
Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum.
