Job summary

A legal recruitment agency is seeking a Property Litigation and General Litigation Solicitor with 5+ years PQE for a fixed-term contract starting in May 2026. This role is based near Twickenham, Middlesex, and will involve managing a caseload with responsibilities in commercial and residential property disputes, landlord and tenant matters, and contractual disputes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. This is a 6-12 month contract with a focus on client interaction and deadline management.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales with a minimum of 5 years in Litigation with full rights to work.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and the ability to convey clear and concise information.
• IT literate to include Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Ability to demonstrate commercial awareness and pro-activity.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the day to day running of a caseload.
• Handle commercial and residential property disputes.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters.
• Deal with property related insolvency matters.
• Resolve contractual disputes.
• Interact directly with clients, manage their expectations, and meet their deadlines.

Job description

A Property Litigation and General Litigation Solicitor of 5 years + PQE is required for a fixed term, maternity contract starting in May 2026 for a firm close to Twickenham, Middlesex.

This will be for a period of between 6-12 months.
