We are working on behalf of a fast-growing Insurtech TPA who are looking for a Property Claims Director to join their team!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join as a Property Claims Director, heading up a team of professionals and shaping the future of claims management.

As a Property Claims Director, you’ll lead a team of claims specialists handling a diverse portfolio of agriculture and property claims. Using your expertise, leadership skills, and a tech-driven mindset, you’ll drive operational excellence, deliver outstanding client service, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Leading and managing a team of claims professionals across agriculture and property.
  • Driving performance, achieving operational targets, and exceeding client expectations.
  • Implementing best practice claims handling processes (intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery).
  • Analysing claims data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Acting as escalation point for complex or disputed claims, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Overseeing reserving practices, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal / regulatory standards.
  • Building strong relationships with farmers, landowners, brokers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
  • Attracting, training, and developing a high-performing, collaborative team.
  • Partnering with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and client outcomes.
Previous Skills & Experience :
  • Minimum Dip CII (or working towards).
  • 10+ years in insurance claims management (property, agriculture, liability, or motor with bodily injury preferred) and at least 6 years’ leadership experience.
  • Comfortable using and evolving claims systems to boost efficiency and outcomes.
  • A natural leader who values collaboration, empathy, and professional development.
  • Able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on detail.
