The post holder will provide effective assistance to the Property & PFI team, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of estates and facilities services across Trust‑managed PFI sites.
The role involves working within live clinical environments, predominantly on mental health wards, where there is a high likelihood of direct patient and service‑user interaction. Such interactions may at times be challenging or uncomfortable, requiring the post holder to maintain professionalism, empathy, and composure. Appropriate training and guidance will be provided to ensure safety and confidence in these situations.

The main responsibilities of the post holder are to escort and supervise contractors working in live clinical wards, ensuring compliance with infection control, confidentiality, security and safeguarding requirements. The programme of works is scheduled to take 12 weeks and the works will be undertaken Monday – Friday during core business hours.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
