Job summary

A social care organization in Glasgow is seeking a Project Worker to support individuals with learning disabilities in their daily lives. £12.82 PER HOUR

Mitre House is a small residential care home in Pollok where we support five adults who have a learning disability and, in some cases, associated physical disabilities.

About You

We need someone who is:

  • Confident and can help us with our everyday needs like cooking, cleaning, and getting ready for the day.
  • Proactive, willing to take the lead in making sure we get to do the things we love.
  • Full of fun – we enjoy a laugh and need someone who can bring energy and positivity into our home.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting us with personal care, meals and everyday tasks.
  • Helping us get out and about – whether it’s to a club, the cinema or just around the community.
  • Ensuring our house remains clean and tidy through deep cleaning and routine night‑time tasks.
  • Monitoring and providing support to all people we support throughout the night.
  • Encouraging us to be independent and make our own choices.
  • Being a friend we can rely on to brighten our day.
