Overview

This post is for a Project Worker 2 position, in our Young Carers Service. The role is predominantly office-based in Kirklees, with travel to schools, family homes and hubs around the Kirklees area. It is essential that applicants have a full driving licence and access to a car.

Although the core hours are Mon-Fri 9-5pm, there may be a requirement to work some early evenings to deliver Group Work Programmes and/or support to young people and families. There are two posts available in Kirklees Young Carers at this time and we may be flexible with the hours.

Funding for this post is initially until 31 March 2026, with the possibility of extension to March 2027.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities and interventions as part of the Young Carers Service.
