Overview

JOB TITLE: Programme Support Officer
REF: Bromsgrove RQ1611149
Pay rate: £16.10 per hour PAYE
Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 3 months with review for extension, for the right candidate
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working.

What you will need
  • Previous Project Support experience, ideally in a sport or leisure environment
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including community groups and local partners
  • Previous fundraising experience is desirable
  • Some experience of facilitating partnership meetings, forums, and workshops, ensuring effective collaboration and follow-up actions
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience in managing diaries, minute-taking, financial tracking, and maintaining databases
  • Ability to produce clear reports, presentations, and monitoring documents to support programme delivery
  • Ability to support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community projects
  • Previous experience of providing administrative support to a project
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of Excel and databases
Responsibilities
  • Contributing towards the "Uniting the Movement Work" to build a better network for physical activity and sport development in local areas
  • Fundraise and manage associated community activities with young people and disabled people
  • Facilitate the meetings of the local Youth Providers Forum and provide ongoing support services to these partners who meet with the team
  • Support the work of the wider team, including the RENEW Arts Council England Place partnership Fund (£550k)
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager in relation to finance, database and other administrative functions that fall in the remit of this service
