• Experience in water hygiene-related work is desirable.
• Knowledge of HSG 274 Part 2 requirements.
• Ability to handle microbiological sampling.

• Monitor temperatures and report exceptions accurately.

Overview

The role will be undertaking all aspects of Water Hygiene related work, mainly dealing with the requirements within the HSG 274 part 2. Join Thames Water as a Project Support Network Service Technician! This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a vital team at Thames Water, supporting essential infrastructure projects and ensuring the delivery of clean, safe water to our communities.

Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring and accurate exception and action reporting.
• Shower head and tap cleaning and descaling.
• Expansion vessel flushing.
• Cold Water and Calorifier internal inspection and reporting.
• Calorifier blow downs.
• Microbiological collection and sampling.
• TMV removal, servicing and failsafe testing.
• Cold Water Storage tank cleaning and system disinfection.
• Mains injection disinfection.
• Legionella Risk Assessing of hot and cold-water systems.
• CAD production on AutoCAD.
• Logbook review and reporting (Experience desired but not essential).
