Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and payments
• Monitor project budgets and cost forecasts
• Attend and contribute to regular site and progress meetings
• Support commercial reporting and maintain compliance with contract terms

Ideal Background

• Demonstrable experience working on large-scale new build or refurbishment schemes
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Experience across two-stage or PCSA procurement advantageous
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple packages

Rate / Salary: £60 (Apply online only) – £90 (Apply online only) + package

A well-established main contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of experienced Project and Senior Quantity Surveyors. The business has recently secured several high-profile schemes across leisure, life sciences, technology, and commercial sectors, with project values ranging from £30 m to £150 m.

These roles offer the opportunity to take responsibility for end-to-end commercial delivery or to support a lead surveyor on complex, high-value projects. Experience in procurement, cost management, and contract administration will be highly regarded, as many of these projects are already underway or about to start on site.
