A leading staffing agency is looking for a Project Scheduler to manage complex project schedules for Energy Asset Projects in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project scheduling, competence with tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for tracking progress, managing project phases, and interacting effectively with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Role Details

Location: Ratcliffe on Soar, Nottingham

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain detailed logic linked and cost and resource loaded schedules for Asset Projects.
  • Prepare and track schedules taking into account all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand over to the client).
  • Monitor progress, report and identify schedule risks, review project milestones and develop corrective actions (analyses, critical path analysis, MTA, percentage of completion, earned value analyses, etc.).
  • Use a variety of scheduling and schedule risk software e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project, including interfaces with associated software e.g. Primavera Risk Analysis.
Skills & Experience
  • Extensive experience of project scheduling on Energy Asset Projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning and scheduling techniques, methods and application of schedule control tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management tools and systems, including MS Project, Primavera P6 and risk management packages.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to succinctly present complex topics.
  • Self‑assured and clear communication skills in an international environment and the ability to exert effective influence at all levels.
  • Able to develop and manage effective working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, developing solutions that meet the project objectives.
