Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor in East Anglia is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for major infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee cost management and procurement processes while leading a team on-site. A degree in Civil Engineering and prior experience in civil sectors are essential. This role offers a salary of £40 - £50k plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Progressed steadily from an Engineering background.
  • Experience in civil sectors.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership.
  • Managing a team of on-site staff (engineers, foreperson, etc.).

  • Prepare valuations/applications for payment.
  • Prepare cost reports for the client.
  • Manage subcontract and material procurement schedules.
  • Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts.

Project Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

Salary: £40 - £50k + pkg
Location: East Anglia
Regions: East Anglia, Norfolk

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Major Civil Engineering Contractor who works across the UK specializing in a variety of civil engineering sectors with a primary focus of infrastructure, highways and rail-based projects. Role will be based on a project in East Anglia and work on a major project for the next c3 years.

My client is a multi-million-pound contractor with over 50 years industry experience with a great reputation across the country. If successful you will be joining a contractor with dedicated staff that works closely with their clients to understand their requirements and objectives to deliver quality projects that are innovative, sustainable and exceed expectations.

The ideal candidate will need to obtain relevant qualifications.

  • Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering
  • Progressed steadily from an Engineering background
  • Previously worked on Civil sectors
  • Chartered or Working towards Chartership
  • Experience of managing a team of on-site staff (engineers, foreperson, etc)
