Drive Design Projects to Success

Ready to take control of complex engineering timelines? We’re looking for a Project Planner to join our consultancy team and keep high-profile defence sector projects.

You’ll be the planning expert behind the scenes, building resource-loaded schedules, running mitigation scenarios, and ensuring every milestone is met. Your insights will guide multidisciplinary teams and help deliver projects that exceed expectations.

What you’ll do
  • Develop and maintain robust, resource-loaded schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep plans aligned.
  • Identify risks early, report opportunities, and drive proactive solutions.
  • Run what-if scenarios to demonstrate cause-and-effect impacts.
  • Deliver clear, actionable monthly progress reports with corrective actions.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience managing complex project schedules in a design consultancy environment (built environment).
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and familiarity with NEC3 / NEC4 contracts.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills – you make data tell a story.
  • SC Clearance (or ability to obtain – must meet minimum residency requirement of 5 years in the UK to obtain); DV clearance highly desirable.
  • Project management qualifications that back up your planning expertise a plus.
