Job summary

A leading energy company in Aldershot is seeking a skilled Project Planner to oversee complex projects within the Defence sector. You will be responsible for driving schedule development and ensuring project milestones are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong Primavera P6 expertise, an engineering degree or project management qualification, and excellent communication skills. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £65,241 plus bonuses, with a hybrid work model after the initial six months.

Responsibilities

  • Drive schedule development, coordination and optimisation across multiple projects.
  • Maintain and validate detailed programmes in Primavera P6.
  • Support change control, risk analysis and performance reporting.
  • Lead planning workshops and provide guidance on best‑practice project controls.
  • Analyse supplier schedules, identify risks and support recovery strategies.
  • Ensure project milestones, dependencies and baselines are accurate and compliant.
