An international nonprofit organization in Guildford seeks a Program Operations Manager to coordinate and deliver key programs. You will oversee multiple projects aimed at empowering girls to code, manage project reporting, and ensure compliance with requirements. The Program Operations Manager role is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and delivering key programs for iamtheCODE. This role integrates several projects that form a program to support the organisation's objective of empowering 1 million girls to code by 2030. Key efforts include the phased launch of the Learning Management System, a consolidated online learning portal, and overall content creation for our end-users. Having an integrated view across efforts, this role consolidates and oversees the execution as the single point of contact. Strong team management abilities, project management skills, problem resolution, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior executives on the program's progress are key desirable skills. A technical/operations background is a plus, although a broad set of skills (Marketing, Leadership, Products, Projects, etc) is the most important to execute well. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and lead engaging projects with iamtheCODE young girls in refugee camps across Africa and Asia.
Role Summary
The key focus areas are Program management, Project cost controls against business case estimates, Preparation of Board Documents, driving project governance, and managing project reporting outputs for all stakeholders. Point of escalation on project tasks with the relevant stakeholders. Managing project scope, milestones, risk log, and issues log.
