Job description

You'll report to the Head of Charity and work with other key project leads involved in the project. A Warneford 200 Delivery Group is in place to plan and coordinate project delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in this group, contributing to the success of the project and engaging with local stakeholders involved in the commemoration year.

Responsibilities:
  1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive W200 project plans, including scope, objectives, and deliverables. Identify resources, set timelines, and establish milestones. Report to the W200 Delivery Group, Head of Charity, and Charity Committee as required.
  2. Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress against milestones using project controls like plans, action logs, and risk registers. Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders, senior management, and grant bodies.
  3. Stakeholder Management & Communications: Engage with stakeholders such as volunteers, service users, and community members. Develop and implement a W200 Communications Plan with the Trust's Communication Team.
  4. Budget and Resource Management: Monitor budgets, escalate approvals when necessary, and ensure efficient resource use. Address financial risks proactively.

Person Specification:

Essential: Demonstrable project management experience and successful project delivery; strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills; experience producing high-quality reports.

Desirable: Experience in charity and third sector project management.
