A local authority is seeking a Project Officer to support careers initiatives for Warwickshire Schools. This role involves managing projects, overseeing grants, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. The Warwickshire Careers Hub is a central initiative designed to support secondary schools and colleges across Warwickshire in delivering high-quality careers guidance. As part of the government’s Careers Strategy, the Hub connects education providers with local employers, helping young people make informed decisions about their future pathways.
The Hub’s team of Enterprise Coordinators works closely with schools and colleges, matching them with business volunteers known as Enterprise Advisers. These advisers help careers leaders implement the eight Gatsby Benchmarks, which are the national standards for effective careers education. By building strong networks between education and business, providing training for careers leaders, and supporting events like mock interviews and careers days, the Warwickshire Careers Hub aims to inspire students and ensure they are well-prepared for the world of work.
To work alongside the Warwickshire Careers Service Manager, Programme Managers and other staff with the design, development, commissioning and management of projects, programmes, initiatives which support our Warwickshire Schools.
