Job Opportunity: Projects Officer

Location: Liverpool City Centre- Office based
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term (9 to 12 months)
Salary: £30,255 per annum
Annual Leave: 33 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

Are you a commercially minded project professional with a passion for managing experiential activities and driving revenue growth? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can lead diverse projects and build strong stakeholder relationships?

My client is looking for a Projects Officer to join their team in Liverpool City Centre and support the delivery of the operations strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will take ownership of key projects and help maximise revenue from the use of public spaces throughout the city.

About the Role

As a Projects Officer, you will:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of various projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate and progress requests for activities across Liverpool.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with their client clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and secure commercial deals to increase revenue and explore new market opportunities.
  • Manage bookings and ensure compliance with insurance, health and safety, and council by-laws.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to promote and facilitate successful events.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support company initiatives, including working alongside the marketing team.

You will also play a key role in managing risk assessments, public liability insurance, and health and safety compliance to ensure safe and successful experiential activities.

What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally within experiential activities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of negotiating deals and increasing revenue.
  • Knowledge of arranging insurance and risk assessments specific to experiential events.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety principles.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn bespoke systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce clear, insightful reports.
  • A proactive team player willing to work flexibly to support event delivery.
