We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Conwy to assist with the appointment of a Project Officer, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client\'s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.47 - £17.13 per hour

Overview

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking a proactive and organised Project Officer to support two Project Managers in delivering inclusive, community-based programmes across the county. The role involves supporting the delivery of a wide range of sessions and activities, attending events throughout Conwy, and working with partners and community participants. The Project Officer will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery through effective administration, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to two Project Managers in the planning, delivery, and monitoring of various community-based projects.
  • Attend events and sessions across Conwy County alongside Project Managers, supporting engagement and logistical coordination.
  • Engage with a wide range of stakeholders including local community members, participants, and partner organisations.
  • Maintain accurate records of project participation, activity delivery, and other monitoring data.
  • Assist with reporting, including data entry, summarising feedback, and creating basic evaluation reports.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential due to travel requirements across the county.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and maintaining accurate records.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively, with strong attention to detail.
